I grew up on my family’s mixed farming property in Central West NSW. After finishing school I spent 3 years on the farm working with my father and grandfather before studying a bachelor of Agriculture through the University of New England. I also owned small acreage during the drought of 2017-19 which taught me the importance of goal setting and making the most of the land you have while finding the balance between quantity and quality of each commodity.
As land holders of agricultural property it is my belief that we have been given the privilege of looking after that piece of earth to leave it in better condition than when we took it on for the next generation.
Farming families often view their farm more as a life style than an innovative, dynamic business of the future but if there was ever a time to call for the implementation of new agricultural innovation, it is now.
My services include advising and coaching around the areas of sustainability, succession, creating harmony between family and business, marketing, people management, planning and goal setting.
While sustainable agriculture systems have come a long way I believe more can be done to bring harmony between the give and take within property eco system.
